How to Apply / Procedure

For professional use only. Patch test mandatory.

1. Cleanse the skin thoroughly with an oil-free cleanser and pat dry.
2. Perform a patch test below the neck or on the inner arm and assess for irritation.
3. Using a brush, cotton-tipped applicator, or gloved fingers, apply a thin, even layer of TCA Peel 35%.
4. Begin application from the forehead and move downward to the neck, avoiding prolonged contact in any one area.
5. Contact time should be professionally determined based on skin tolerance and peel strength.
6. Leave the peel on for 2–7 minutes depending on sensitivity and judgement of the professional.
7. Apply a neutralizer if required, wait 1 minute, then rinse thoroughly with water.
8. Apply a soothing moisturizer and broad-spectrum sunscreen post-treatment.
9. Continue hydration and SPF protection twice daily for at least 7 days after treatment.

Contraindications

This peel is contraindicated in the following conditions:

• Active cutaneous infections (bacterial, viral, or fungal)
• Open wounds, abrasions, or compromised epidermal barrier
• Acute inflammatory dermatoses (eczema, psoriasis, rosacea, dermatitis)
• Known hypersensitivity to trichloroacetic acid or peel components
• Recent cosmetic or dermatological procedures (laser, microneedling, surgery)
• Photosensitized or sunburned skin
• Pregnancy and lactation unless under strict medical supervision
• Recent or current use of systemic retinoids (e.g., isotretinoin)
• History of keloid formation or impaired wound healing
• Untrained or unsupervised home use

Patch Test

Apply a small amount of TCA Peel 35% below the neck or on an inconspicuous area (inner arm). Observe for irritation, redness, or allergic reaction before full application.

Post-Peel Care

• Strict sun protection and consistent moisturization are essential
• Moderate dryness, redness, or visible flaking may occur as exfoliation proceeds
• Do not manually peel, pick, or forcibly remove exfoliating skin
• Use gentle cleansers and avoid scrubs or harsh soaps for 7–10 days
• Apply broad-spectrum SPF daily on all exposed areas

Note

Medium-depth peels like TCA 35% are potent. Visible flaking may occur and is normal, but manual peeling should be avoided. Resistant or thicker skin may require adjusted contact times or professionally guided multi-session protocols.
