How to Apply / Procedure

For professional use only. Patch test mandatory.

1. Cleanse the skin thoroughly with an oil-free cleanser and pat dry.
2. Perform a patch test below the neck or on the inner arm and assess for irritation.
3. Using a brush, cotton-tipped applicator, or gloved fingers, apply a thin, even layer of TCA Peel 30%.
4. Begin application from the forehead and move downward to the neck, avoiding prolonged contact in one area.
5. Contact time should be professionally determined due to the strength of this peel.
6. Leave the peel on for 2–5 minutes depending on skin sensitivity and clinical judgement.
7. Apply a neutralizer if required, wait 1 minute, then rinse thoroughly with water.
8. Apply a soothing moisturizer and broad-spectrum sunscreen.
9. Continue hydration and sun protection twice daily for at least 7 days post-treatment.

Contraindications

This peel is contraindicated in the following conditions:

• Active cutaneous infections (bacterial, viral, or fungal)
• Open wounds, abrasions, or compromised epidermal barrier
• Acute inflammatory skin conditions (eczema, psoriasis, rosacea, dermatitis)
• Known hypersensitivity to trichloroacetic acid or peel components
• Recent cosmetic or dermatological procedures (laser, microneedling, waxing, surgery)
• Photosensitized or sunburned skin
• Pregnancy and lactation unless under medical supervision
• Recent or current systemic retinoid use (e.g., isotretinoin)
• History of keloid formation or impaired wound healing
• Untrained or home use

Patch Test

Apply a small amount of TCA Peel 30% below the neck or on an inconspicuous area (inner arm). Observe for irritation, redness, or allergic reaction before full application.

Post-Peel Care

• Strict sun protection and consistent moisturization are essential
• Mild to moderate dryness, redness, or surface flaking may occur
• Do not manually peel, pick, or forcibly remove exfoliating skin
• Use gentle cleansers and avoid scrubs or harsh soaps for 7–10 days
• Apply broad-spectrum SPF daily on all exposed areas

Note

TCA 30% is a medium-strength professional peel. Visible flaking may occur and is normal; however, manual peeling should be avoided. Resistant or thicker skin may require adjusted contact times or professionally guided multi-session protocols.
