How to Apply / Procedure
For professional use only. Patch test mandatory.
- Cleanse the skin thoroughly with an oil-free cleanser and pat dry.
- Perform a patch test on the inner arm or below the neck and assess for irritation.
- Using a brush, cotton-tipped applicator, or gloved fingers, apply a thin, even layer of Salicylic Peel 50%.
- Begin application from the forehead and move downward to the neck, avoiding prolonged contact in any one area.
- Do not exceed 20 seconds of contact time during application (professionally guided).
- Leave the peel on for 2–5 minutes depending on skin sensitivity and tolerance.
- Apply a neutralizer if required, wait 1 minute, then rinse thoroughly with water.
- Apply a soothing moisturizer and broad-spectrum sunscreen.
- Continue moisturization and SPF twice daily for at least 7 days post-treatment.
Contraindications
This peel is contraindicated in the following conditions:
- Active cutaneous infections (bacterial, viral, or fungal)
- Open wounds, abrasions, or compromised epidermal barrier
- Acute inflammatory dermatoses (eczema, psoriasis, rosacea, dermatitis)
- Known hypersensitivity to salicylic acid or peel components
- Recent cosmetic or dermatological procedures (laser, microneedling, waxing, surgery)
- Photosensitized or sunburned skin
- Pregnancy and lactation unless under medical supervision
- Recent or current systemic retinoid use (e.g., isotretinoin)
- History of keloid formation or impaired wound healing
- Untrained or home use
Patch Test
Apply a small amount of Salicylic Peel 50% below the neck or on an inconspicuous area (inner arm). Observe for irritation, redness, or allergic reaction before full application.
Post-Peel Care
- Strict sun protection and consistent moisturization are essential after treatment
- Mild dryness, flaking, or slight peeling may occur as exfoliation proceeds
- Do not peel or manually remove flaking skin
- Use gentle cleansers and avoid scrubs or harsh soaps for 7–10 days
- Apply broad-spectrum SPF daily on all exposed areas
Note
Visible peeling is not required for effectiveness. Stronger or resistant skin may require professionally guided multi-session protocols or adjusted contact times.
