How to Apply / Procedure

For professional use only. Patch test mandatory.

1. Cleanse the skin thoroughly with an oil-free cleanser and pat dry.
2. Perform a patch test below the neck or on the inner arm and assess for irritation.
3. Using a brush, cotton-tipped applicator, or gloved fingers, apply a thin, even layer of the peel.
4. Begin application from the forehead and move downward to the neck.
5. Do not exceed 20 seconds of contact time during application (professionally determined).
6. Leave the peel on for 3–7 minutes, adjusting based on skin sensitivity.
7. Apply neutralizer if required, wait 1 minute, then rinse thoroughly with water.
8. Apply a soothing moisturizer and broad-spectrum sunscreen.
9. Continue sunscreen and moisturization twice daily for 7 days post-treatment.

Contraindications

This peel is contraindicated in the following conditions:

• Active cutaneous infections (bacterial, viral, or fungal)
• Open wounds, abrasions, or compromised epidermal barrier
• Acute inflammatory dermatoses (eczema, psoriasis, rosacea, dermatitis)
• Known hypersensitivity to mandelic acid or peel components
• Recent dermatological or cosmetic procedures (laser, microneedling, waxing, surgery)
• Photosensitized or sunburned skin
• Pregnancy and lactation unless under medical supervision
• Recent or current oral isotretinoin/systemic retinoid use (within last 6 months)
• History of keloid formation or impaired wound healing
• Untrained or home use

Patch Test

Apply a small amount of Mandelic Peel 30% below the neck or on the inner arm. Observe for any irritation, redness, or allergic reaction before full application.

Post-Peel Care

• Strict sun protection and consistent moisturization are essential after treatment
• Mild dryness or slight flaking may occur as exfoliation continues
• Do not peel or manually remove flaking skin
• Use gentle cleansers and avoid harsh soaps or scrubs for 7–10 days
• Apply broad-spectrum SPF daily on all exposed areas

Note

Visible peeling is not required for effectiveness. Resistant or thicker areas may require adjusted contact times or a professionally guided multi-session peel protocol.
