A professional-grade chemical peel formulated with a synergistic blend of exfoliating acids to deeply exfoliate, clarify congestion, and promote cell turnover.
Jessner’s Peel is designed to improve acne-prone skin, pigmentation, dullness, and texture irregularities with effective, controlled exfoliation.
Indications
- Moderate to severe acne and acne-prone skin
- Comedonal congestion, blackheads, and whiteheads
- Post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH) and uneven skin tone
- Dull, tired, and lackluster complexion
- Rough texture and surface irregularities
- Enlarged pores and clogged follicles

How to Apply / Procedure
For professional use only. Patch test mandatory.
- Cleanse the skin thoroughly with an oil-free cleanser and pat dry.
- Perform a patch test on the inner arm or below the jawline and assess for irritation.
- Using a brush, cotton-tipped applicator, or gloved fingers, apply a thin, even layer of the peel.
- Begin application from the forehead and move downward to the neck.
- Application contact time should not exceed 20 seconds (professionally determined).
- Allow peel to act for 3–7 minutes depending on skin sensitivity.
- Apply neutralizer, wait 1 minute, then rinse thoroughly with water.
- Apply a soothing moisturizer and broad-spectrum sunscreen.
- Continue moisturization and SPF twice daily for 7 days post-treatment.
Contraindications
This peel is contraindicated in the following conditions:
- Active bacterial, viral, or fungal skin infections
- Open wounds, abrasions, or broken skin
- Inflammatory skin conditions (eczema, psoriasis, rosacea)
- Known hypersensitivity to acids or peel ingredients
- Recent clinical or cosmetic procedures (laser, microneedling, waxing, surgery)
- Photosensitized or sunburned skin
- Pregnancy and lactation unless under medical supervision
- Recent use of oral isotretinoin or systemic retinoids (within last 6 months)
- History of keloid formation or impaired wound healing
- Untrained or home use
Patch Test
Apply a small amount of Jessner’s Peel to an inconspicuous area (inner arm or armpit). Observe for any signs of irritation, redness, or allergy before full application.
Post-Peel Care
- Strict sun protection and consistent moisturization are essential
- Mild flaking or temporary darkening may occur during exfoliation
- Do not peel or manually remove skin flakes
- Use gentle cleansers and avoid scrubs or harsh soaps for 7–10 days
- Apply broad-spectrum SPF daily on exposed areas
Note
Lack of visible peeling does not indicate lack of efficacy. Thicker or resistant skin may require adjusted contact time or a professionally guided multi-session protocol.
